Remember these steps aren’t meant to be easy and some may take more time than others but as long as you stay true to them they will help you overcome your problem with acceptance of whatever you are dealing with and help you be a healthier person mentally and physically. Also keep in mind that these steps should be done one at a time to prevent becoming overwhelmed.

So the first step is to observe and come to terms with the situation whether it be good or bad and realize that their is something wrong about doing it and look at the situation and see that their is nothing that you can do to change that person or change that situation and just make yourself aware of the situation.

You can also find ways that will help you make better choices in order to not get in that situation again.

Step two is to describe the situation or predicament that you are in and realize why you are in forced to be in that situation that you are in and it comes in many ways because you may not like the situation or circumstance that you are forced to accept and you don’t have to agree with it and it doesn’t mean that you are not giving in and settling. It just means you are aware of it and that you are willing for a change in that situation or predicament that you are in.

You can also make a list of what the best ways would be for you to overcome your fears with changing that situation that you are in and why you feel the way you feel about the predicament or situation that you are in.

The Third and final step is to participate. You must put these steps into motion and work on facing your fears of why you can’t accept that situation or person, place or thing the way it is. Also though keep in mind that you need to stay away from the unfair s and fairs and the should s and could s. Because all that means then if you are using those is you are still trying to make excuses of why you can’t overcome your fear of accepting that situation for just the way it is.

Action Items-What You Can Do?

1.) Make sure you are willing to make a change in your life with the situation that you are in.

2.) Find a healthy balance between accepting other people for who they are, versus encouraging them to grow and change.

3.) Don’t be afraid to ask for help because not everyone can find acceptance easily and you may need some help to do so.

If you found this information helpful, please share it with others.

Yes, willingness to see the problem is extremely important. Many of us want to believe that there is no problem. Ignoring it will not make it go away though that is what many of us choose to do.

Participating in the working on the results you desire will speed the plan along.

I think that these rules or guidelines work very well for a number of things. I like this. Thank you for writing them out for us.

You have a great post here. I suffer from chronic anxiety and fortunately some years ago, I was wise enough to understand that I needed medical help because I could get out of my depression. I was lucky to find an excellent psychiatrist that gave me advise and taught me how to stay away from some situations that can cause me anxiety.
I think that, recognizing that we have a problem is the biggest startup for our recovery.
